This history was written by Claude Rackett, who signed his address as "Broomham" in June 1974. The accompanying pictures are credited in the captions. The Hall became Buckswood School in 1957, having moved from Bonhams near Arundel, and opened with 26 boys.

Stamped 1943 this card belonged to Muriel Turner's father, Francis Turner. It was stamped again in 1948 when the family moved to Tawstock, Pett Road, Guestling, where Muriel continued to live until her death in 2016.
